Acorns: the Food of Invincible Men

Acorn is a generic term for the fruit of trees of the genus Quercus, such as cork oaks, holm oaks and oaks. Here we are in the 21st century, unaware of the knowledge and flavours of this food that was once the basis of human nutrition. Faced with today’s challenges, a food revolution is needed, against the hyper-extension of agriculture and for the recovery of native forests, and therefore in favour of acorns!

How to make acorn bread

Acorn bread is an excellent way to eat acorns! This bread benefits from the advantages of acorns – they don’t contain gluten and are more nutritious than any cereal. In this video we explain how to make acorn bread using two different leavening processes: with baker’s yeast and with natural leavening.
